Mercy Indonesia Malinau was established in 2008. It began with two children and today there are nine. The children came from impoverished families around Malinau, Nunukan, and Bulungan.

Ronny and Rina Titahena are the caregivers for Mercy Malinau. Ronny graduated from Ambon Betel Indonesia Bible School in 1992. They felt called to serve children and the found that the Malinau Orphan Home is the place God led them to fulfill that
